Am I miscarrying??

4 weeks ago found out I had a subchorionic hemorrhage and been bleeding off and on. At 10 weeks my hcg was 116,000 then at 11 weeks it was 83,000 now at 12w2d it’s 55,000 but my baby is measuring right on track with a heartbeat of 171 but the emergency room told me I’m miscarrying since my levels are dropping.

The er doctors are stupid after about 11 weeks your hcg begins to drop on its own

Please dont let them do a DnC keep fighting unless it happens naturally they like to misdiagnose all the time both my boys they told me pregnancy was not viable and I have a 5 and 2 year old pregnant with baby 3 now

Your levels will naturally drop around the second trimester. Everything I've ever read said once baby and heart beat can be seen on ultrasound that the numbers are less important. don't be scared based on the numbers alone. Do not let them talk you into any type of termination until you have definitive proof such as no heart beat. I saw a lady post the other day the er told her she miscarried thought she got pregnant again the next month went in for her scan and was well into her second trimester.

ER doctors are known for misdiagnosis when it comes to miscarriage. Although I respect their profession, they don’t know what they should about the female body or early pregnancy. Speak to your OBGYN or midwife asap

Have your doctors said why they’ve been monitoring your hCG levels so much? I’ve only known docs to check it a few times at beginning of pregnancy for viability. I did have mine checked at ~7’ish weeks and it was 81,000 because my symptoms abruptly stopped after I spotted for a day & I didn’t feel pregnant anymore. But PP are correct, hCG does start to plateau off at a certain point when the placenta takes over, but I’ve never heard of it dropping that much before. Hugs mama, call your OB in the am ❤️

Not all ER doctors are dumb.. the ER doctors at my hospital are very smart and they’ve never messed up on anything line this.. unfortunately not every hospital has good ER doctors rhat know about pregnancy.. I just had to throw that out there so let everyone know not all ER doctors are dumb asf in regards to pregnancy 😂
