I met my girl in high school. I was a freshman and she was a senior. We clicked automatically and people would joke that we argued like a married couple. I don’t know how to explain it but I realized my feelings when I hugged her. It was a sense of comfort. She became my home. We expressed our feelings. We were both on the same page but of course it couldn’t go anywhere because of the age difference. She’s been my friend for a decade now and to this day I still love her. The timing hasn’t been perfect but she’s Mrs. right so we’ll be together one day.
