Switching highschools

Ok so I’m a sophomore and for this year I transfer to a different school with one of my bestfriends who is a freshmen and I thought it would be good because I had other friends there too and it was supposedly a “better” school but it’s the 2nd week and I’m already missing my old school I miss all my friends there and just the school in general and it’s a way better commute also I’m struggling because they teach differently than my old school like in math, anyways I want to transfer back to my old school second semester but I’m not sure if i should because one I would leave my bestfriend and two my new school might get better eventually so what do y’all think I should do stay at my new school for the year and hope it gets better or transfer back to my old school ?
