Is it normal for your period to be all out of wack after a baby?

I had my baby back in March. My period started back up in April and they’ve been 23-25 days apart. Well, my last period ended on August 2nd and still nothing. Yesterday in the shower I had a little bit of discharge come out mixed with a little bit of bright blood (gross sorry) and assumed it was the start of my period.

Well here we are, over 24 hours later and I haven’t bled at all since that. The chances of me being pregnant are extremely slim, but I’m freaking myself out. I took a test yesterday and it was negative. It’s probably nothing, right? 🤞🏻
