Engagement ring

Needing some advice so my fiancée bought my my engagement ring,at first I hated it but decided not to say anything as I thought it would grow on me.A lady at his work helped him pick it.

A month after he proposed I told him I didn’t like it and he felt really hurt and said I could buy a new one but I said no because I didn’t want to upset him and he put so much effort into it.

To this day I still don’t like it and I feel like if he doesn’t know the kind of jewellery I like then what else

What should I do?
