Anyone use the Kiinde twist system?

Question

I was thinking of putting it on my registry. Saw that you can use a code to get it 50% off, but had questions. Do you need to sterilize the nipple after each feeding? If so how many nipples of different flows do you recommend? What happens if the baby can't breast feed? Can you use with formula?

Oh also, when I was pregnant I was obsessed with the idea of pumping straight into a bag or the bottle he’d eat directly from so I would have less dishes and less chance of contamination. But using the bottle your pump comes in and transferring is so much easier than all these crazy gadgets. It takes two seconds to pour and wash.

I don’t, but a friend of ours does. She got her pump and a year supply of kiinde products for free from her insurance. She seems to like it 🤷🏼‍♀️ I will say though that if your gonna supplement, to try and find bottles with similar nipples

For us this system work amazingly. My husband also enjoyed not having multiple bottles and nipples to deal with. My caregivers we're also very pleased with the ease of use. Plus, our baby prefered the nipple verses other brands.

I absolutely love it! I have about 4 bottles total and 2 of each nipple flow. My son went on a boob strike not long after he was born and this was a life saver. Now i just collect and freeze the milk and use the kiinde bags incase he ever deels like taking a bottle. Plus the bags can be used for food purees and there is a whole kit for it as well so in my book its a total win win lol

Honestly I would wait. I so wish I would have waited for all the crazy purchases I made until I actually knew what my son and our breastfeeding relationship would be like. I’m always so prepared and I thought I knew what I wanted but I don’t use 90% of the stuff I got. We have multiple of all the nipple sizes and bottle sizes and he rarely takes a bottle and will never move up from the size zero nipples. We could have managed with one bottle and one nipple. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Once your baby is here and you know what you need, just get a small amount of different things one at a time to try it out and see how s/he likes it.

One of the first things I bought when I was pregnant. 
Come baby time, I loved being able to pump right into the bag, but the measurements weren’t accurate, and the nipples are way too wide for a newborn and baby sucked in a lot of air. We maybe used the bottles twice and won’t be using them again. I like the freezer tray, still use that but have cheaper storage bags. I find it better to pump into a bottle so I can know how much exactly I pumped before putting it into the bag. 
But I do really love the bottle warmer. Water comes up when the bottles in and drains out when the timer is done so it doesn’t keep heating up in case you’re not right there to take it out immediately.

I love their bags, everything else is eh. Their bottles are super weird and hard to hold. My son liked the nipple but I hated holding the bottle

I got a free sample (just pay shipping) in the mail today! It’s a neat concept, but I’ll probably stick to avent bottles with my little.

We got a sample one, but my husband hated the bottle. Since he’s the one who’s going to be giving the baby bottles, we just got rid of it.
