Did your baby(ies) learn to fall asleep on their own eventually or was that something you had to teach them through some sort of sleep training method? My 4 month old EBF baby is starting to get 5-7 hour stretches at night without any training on my part, so I’m just wondering if he will eventually teach himself how to go to sleep on his own when I place him in his crib (my ped recommended putting him down drowsy but awake as a newborn but I didn’t listen and he’s no longer swaddled). So now to go to sleep for naps I either nurse, rock, or hold him and then put him down once he’s in deep sleep.
