Huge cyst, need some advice please!

Hi everyone! So it’s been about two months now, and my bartholin cyst is very swollen. It’s hard to the touch, and about the size of a ping pong ball.

So, I’m aware that going to the doctors and getting it drained or even removed is an option, but does anyone have any other advice to lessen the swelling or get rid of it all together?

It’s honestly not too much in my way, but it’s concerning. Also, does anyone know what causes these? Thank you.
