Hcg levels

On Monday September 3rd I was about 5 weeks and 4 days. I saw some dark brown discharge when wiping and was having some strange cramping like I was getting my period. So I went to ER.

They did a TV ultrasound and an abdominal ultrasound and saw a gestational sac and yolk sac but no embryo yet. They also saw another area that they said could be a fibroid (though it wasn’t solid and had fluid inside ) a hemorrhage or a second gestational sac. !!!

On that day my hcg level was 8789. They had it tested again on the 5th (48hrs later) and it went up a little to 9863. Which was concerning to me because it didn’t double at all. Doctor said as long as it was going up it was a good sign.

I’ve had no more colored discharge , still slight cramping here and there and I feel super pregnant (sore breasts, heart burn, fatigue, nausea , headache) I have another scan on Monday. Has anyone had a similar situation to this? I’m kinda freaking out. I’m 40yrs old and I really want this baby to be ok. They also discovered I have a 1.7cm cyst on my right ovary. 😥 my mind is racing and I’m trying really hard to stay relaxed but it’s really difficult.
