Vagina tear ??

When I was 20 I lost my virginity to a guy who went really rough with me I got a vaginal tear I went to the obgyn the doctor sealed the tear and I didn't have sex again until recently because I was terrified of sex it's two years later now it seems like the tear reopened when me and my boyfriend had sex but my bf went very gentle stopped when it hurt and I was very wet I don't know what to do because I don't think the tear ever healed for two years ?
