Boyfriend is divorcing and having issues...

My boyfriend is divorcing his separated wife and she is being really difficult about it. They broke up a year ago, because they didn’t love each other anymore (she told him that) she cheated on him multiple times, and lied very often. Now a year later, he’s dating me, and he wants to get a divorce from her so they can both officially move on.

He’s doing a joint application and basically she doesn’t have to lift a finger, only confirm information and she’s refusing to look at it, saying she needs another year and she isn’t ready and she’s mad that he is “parading his happiness while she’s dying from the other side of the world” (we live in Europe and she’s in Australia). Keep in mind that he brought up the divorce months ago and she said no problem, she would do it and do whatever she needed to. Meanwhile, she cant wait to tell him whenever she’s hooked up with someone new.

She is refusing to cooperate and is being so selfish...I’m trying to help my boyfriend through this but it’s so hard :( I just need someone to vent to :(
