Dating someone who is transgender

Not sure if this is the right place to post, but... I’ve been casually dating someone who is ftm (female to male) transgender. And I’m respectful of course, but is there anything different with dating someone who is trans? And what to expect or any way for me to make sure I treat him the way he deserves to be treated? We’ve only been seeing each other for a couple weeks so we haven’t put a label on our relationship yet, but we’ve been talking about sex and I’m a little nervous about it. I also got out of a 4 year relationship about 4 months ago. But I really like this guy. I just want to be careful to not use him as a rebound or anything. Any advice would help! I myself am a cis female. And I know I need to talk to him specifically to find out what he is most comfortable with. I just wanted more advice
