Labor!?! 39 weeks exactly

Question

So I just had like a quarter cup of fluid come out.. possibly amniotic fluid.. with a slight pink tinge, obviously from blood. And I’ve been having period like cramping. Is this early early labor? I have an appt in 2 hours thank goodness!

So they hooked me up at my appointment and I’m definitely contracting, just not enough to say it’s definitely labor.. so I’m going home and will call if they get more frequent and worse 😩 dilated 1cm, 70% effaced.

Oh yes! So I gave birth this day!! Birth was absolutely terrible, spent 4.5 hours in triage arguing with some young residents that I WAS in labor, as I screamed every 2 minutes bc of contractions and back labor. It was absolutely horrific! Then my OB got there and was like wtf are they talking about you’re 6cm dilated and they got me an epidural right away, it was ridiculous! So anyway, epidural was fantastic and when it came time to push a few hours later he came out in 26 mins. Pushing was a bit hard bc I was so tired from triage but I made it. Lol back labor was the worst, idk how anyone does that on their own, they are tough! So now I’m a bit torn apart and exhausted but he’s the best thing ever so I can’t complain! lol
