Induction and all natural?

Question

Has anyone been induced and did not get pain medicine? I have not heard amazing things about induction but it might be in my near future. I have another growth ultrasound next week at 38 weeks. At yesterday's appointment I was measuring at 41 weeks. I know measurements in 3rd trimester are not as accurate but I've had numerous growth scans and I am pretty confident that our little girl is large. I'm 5'9 and hubs is 6'2.

My induction was long. 53 hours start to baby delivered. I was 36 weeks. 
I used nitrous oxide with limited success. The hot shower was amazing and I highly recommend. 
And then finally got an epidural 2 hours before she arrived. It didn’t work vaginally 😩. The plan was to rest after breaking my water but that was enough to make her come down for pushing almost immediately. 
So it wasn’t horrible. Almost made it. I definitely wanted the epidural sooner but I’d told my midwife I didn’t want it while I was pregnant so she never offered it. I had to ask. And I felt like a wimp asking lol so I kept putting it off.
