Ttc with irregular periods?

Hey ladies I few questions, so, I went off my birth control in April as we discussed to try and get it out of my system and ttc. The first two months my periods were normal. In June my period was a 51 days cycle and July 49 day cycle. Anybody else having this problem?? My mom works for my GYNO and he’s Christian and I don’t wanna go in to for a check up and tell him we’ve been trying while we’re not married because then my mom wouldn’t hear the end of it. (they’re a close office) and I’m pretty close with my GYNO also. I’m just trying to get opinions or anybody who was in the same boat or is in the same boat what they did or are doing? Will my body regulate ? When do I ovulate with having these long cycles?
