Evacuation: concerned about missed tests and visits
We’ve evacuated ahead of the storm and are not expecting to be able to get back in for at LEAST a week, if by some miracle our tiny beach town is missed (likely weeks to months if we take the direct hit anticipated) so now I have issues:
1. I’m supposed to go in for bile acid testing Friday (every Friday) but we’re now out of state and my insurance won’t work here and none of my doctors are open to ask questions. I do t even know where to go here to get the tests, they are ordered by my high risk neonatologist 😬
2. I’m due to have a midwife appointment the 18th where they will check my sugars. Obviously that won’t happen either, I’ll be 28 weeks the 25th, how important is it that I get sugars tested before then?
😭😭😭
