Breech?

The ultrascan tech said my baby was breech. I feel like it’s too early to officially say he’ll be breech until the end of the pregnancy. Anyone else been told their baby is breech and needs to have another scan?

Literally every time I’ve had an ultrasound she’s been in a different position their still so small they have plenty of room

They flip around a lot during pregnancy. It’s not until about 34 weeks that they’re head first and stay that way. Every time I get an ultrasound my baby is breech. Nothing to be concerned about any time soon since they have lots of room to move around and do quite a bit of moving at this point.

I’ve heard that most babies are in the breech position until they flip towards the end of pregnancy when they are preparing for birth. So I don’t think it’s anything to worry about. My babe was in the breech position too at our scan.

Every time I’ve gone baby has been a different position. I know they have to note the baby’s current position at an US but it’s way too early to be concerned about breach—they’ll change positions a million more times

With my last pregnancy I think it was around 28 weeks when my Dr told me he was breech and I should mentally prepare for the possibility that he'll stay that way (and he did)

I feel like it’s also way to early as they have way more than enough time to flip and change positions. If that’s the case then my baby gotta be breech also

If you’re due in January, baby has plenty of time to flip. Like others said, there is still plenty of room. Chances are the baby has flip several times since your scan.

At 20 week US she was breech I had to have another US at 21 weeks due to pain and she was head down. They are still so small they move around frequently.

They have to label the position it doesn’t mean they think baby is going to stay that way. My twins get double scanned every two weeks. In the first ten minutes both babies were head down today then when the MFM came in one was transverse and one was head down. They literally are always moving around at this stage.

Yup! I had my scan on Monday at 22w1d and they said she’s breech. They said that they will give it until 32 weeks and if she’s still breech then they will try to externally turn her. If that doesn’t work by 36 weeks we will start talking about a C section. But she still has tons of room to flip. I know some women said that their baby was breech during the scan and flipped during the scan too. I’m trying not to worry too much. Now.. 10 weeks from now if she’s still breech, I’ll be worried.
