Any mamas out these still currently breastfeeding? I have a 17 month old and I was hoping he would self wean. He has been EBF and never took a bottle and won’t drink much cow milk/soy milk/almond milk or pea protein.

Anyway my OB recommended I stop at 24 weeks which is today. He doesn’t BF much, usually when he wakes up in the morning and a bit at night. I’m convinced there isn’t much milk in there for him.

My OB’s reasoning is nipple stimulation can induce labor.

Anyway I do believe that we are still slowly weaning off. Yesterday we were so busy all day that it was the first 24 hour stretch of us being together where he didn’t nurse and has yet to nurse this morning.

Anyone else still BF or have any insight? I know some people do BF through their entire pregnancy.
