A balloon???! A Foley bulb? Experiences?

Question

Midwife and Doc want me to insert the balloon to open the cervix and hopefully induce labor.
Currently 39weeks 4days.   Baby is measuring 10lbs 5oz and I’m completely closed.
Any experiences?
I’ve been attempting all the normal tricks: sex, primrose oil, raspberry leaf tea...walking...swimming...ball exercises....

I had the balloon and it got uncomfortable but the worst part was I had to go pee so bad and everytime I would get help to the bathroom and try and only would go an little bit then would go back and lay down only to feel like I have to pee again.
If you do have the balloon used everytime you go to the bathroom make sure you stand up and sit back down because it can block your pee flow and you wont be able to push much out until you stand up and sit back down it was so frustrating and I didnt figure it out til it was almost time to take the balloon out...

I was lucky and had the pessary ( like a sharp tampon) 
I went into labour that day, I reacted almost too well to the drug ( I was 40 weeks) and I had intense back to back labour!!! I had to beg the midwife to check me as I was a FTM- I almost gave birth in the room we were staying in! I only had a little gas and air! 
It was great to not have the epidural and be in control and not have a catheter inserted! Made my recovery a lot quicker 😊

I had that type of induction and it was amazing and I didn’t feel any pain, I do recommend the epidural for it though. It’s basically a catheter inserted into your cervix and it’s inflated with liquid and they’ll tug on it every once in awhile and once it falls out, you’re at 5cm.
