How long have you been trying?

I'm 15 months this month.
One child already (he was my surprise) 
One miscarriage in June 
Anyone been trying this long and not had any medical reasons stopping them conceiving? 
I've just no idea why we are  having trouble.

We’ve been trying for 19 months. One missed miscarriage at 14 weeks (baby’s heart stopped at 11). Been to two different doctors with our concerns. Both say wait one year (however, they restarted the year after my mm). It took us 11 months to conceive our first pregnancy and we are currently on our 6th month of trying after my cycle returned post d&c. We are frustrated. Prior to our first pregnancy my husband had a sperm analysis done and I had blood tests to make sure I was ovulating (both were the month we actually conceived but didn’t know it at the time of the testing). Everything came back as good. We are an extremely healthy young couple but it’s just taking us longer and I guess that’s normal per 2 ob’s opinions.

I think my issue is my weight honestly. This is my 14th month since we got married last year in July and had a miscarriage in February this year. It’s definitely a struggle

We have an almost 9yr old, we had a m/c in 2012, a 5yr old daughter, a 3yr old son, and after 16 cycles we found out we were pregnant in June & mc in August.
We haven’t started ttc again
