Just off the pill.

So here's the thing I have been on the pill for a out 8 years. My mom got me on it my junior year of high school I graduated in 2011. I have been married for 2 years with my husband a total of 5 year. We recently decided to start trying for our first child. I am curious how long could it take to get pregnant? I have heard it can happen right away or could take up to 3 months. I also suffer from hypothyroidism and was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with pregnancy and hypothyroidism and what I should be aware of as body reregulates.
