I told my granny in law that we are expecting and her response was "i told y'all y'all needed you wait" we have a 9 year old and 18 month old and currently live in an apartment. We just told her about the promotions both me and my husband received and that we were house hunting so I'm confused as to wait we should have waited for? She eventually congratulated us but is it right for me to be hurt by her original comment?

I think it’s ok for you to feel hurt, but on the bright side you have a precious little baby on the way 💕
Mine are 4,2, and 1 I hear “slow down” “that’s enough” all the time from my in laws it hurts in the moment but we don’t care on their opinion we’re expecting #4 in February.

My best friend shamed us for having our two kids and it hurt my feelings but then I just realized we are two different people who want different things out of life so I just shrugged it off and love my babies to the fullest

I think she’s just old and maybe couldn’t put it all together fast enough - like the promotions, House, etc. Don’t let her get you down.
