It’s a flashing smiley how many hours do I have ?

I haven’t been keeping up with ovulation. Purchased this clear blue test and took it just now and it’s a blinking smiley face!! I’m sure that’s good how long do I have to take advantage of this ovulation? My husband has left for work and I’m about to head out now 😩😩 I tested day ago and it was just an empty circle I pray 🙏🏽 this just happened this morning and I didn’t miss these other days. Advice please!!

Solid smiley means you’re 12-36 hours from ovulation. Flashing smiley means you’re on your way to a solid smiley. I had 5 days of flashing smiley and then my solid smiley. You could still be a few days to a week from ovulation.

Some of the clear blue ones have to have a permanent smiley, not flashing, to indicate ovulation. So I would double check the instructions so that you don’t miss it by mistake.

They usually say like 12-48 hours. I would say as long as you try within today sometime you will be good 😊

If you read the instructions it has a graph that says when you should start testing based on your shortest cycle over the last 6 months. So I have cycles anywhere between 28-36 days. I normally start testing around day 8-10 to make sure I don’t miss my fertile period, since it can change. But I’ve had some cycles where I get 11 blinking faces before a solid face. I’ve lost had some where I got 8 no face, 3 blinking, and one solid face. So be sure to track your cycles and start testing on the day the graph recommends!

Blinking face means elevated estrogen levels, so higher chance of fertility. Solid smiley is your LH surge, so ovulation.
