Things I wish I could post on Social Media but won’t
1) that we’re going through this fertility struggle to begin with
2) that seeing pregnancy announcements and sonograms makes me want to cry
3) that I’m choc full of extra hormones right now because of the treatments I’ve taken
4) how efficient and kind the nurses and staff are at my clinic
5) how I never thought I’d have to have my husband stab me with a needle and then time sex just so we can have a baby(ovidril)
6) how ironic it is I spent most of my older youth trying and fretting over not getting knocked up and now I’m fretting over and trying stupidly hard to get knocked up and how its kind of unfair that they don’t talk or teach this shit in sex Ed as a way to prepare us in case it happens. Like I feel like I wouldn’t stress or get as upset if I expected that this might occur when I was younger. Maybe I wouldn’t have held the dream of having all the babies so high up if I knew that the chances of needing some science help were as high as they are.
7) I’d love to send a shoutout to anyone else I might know in my life who is going through the same thing and try to connect so we wouldn’t feel so alone.
8)just to be able to talk freely and open about this without feeling embarrassed or waiting for people who have not gone through it to tell me to “just relax” it will happen and other super NOT helpful pearls of wisdom from someone who had an easy time conceiving
Just overall feeling on my own right now. I know I have this platform to go to but it’s not the same as utilizing the support and guidance of people in your own real life 😕 I do appreciate and am grateful for all the help I get from everyone in this Glow community, I truly am not trying to be unappreciative of you guys, I just mean I wish I could have coffee with my friends or mom and have them get it you know.
