Side effects of nexaplanon??

August 24th I had the Nexaplanon device put in. I got my period the 13th and that night I passed something very odd.

Since then I’ve been bleeding very very heavily, and have had severe cramps. This morning I was feeling very off so I took my temperature and I had a 101.3 degree fever. I took a pregnancy test and got a faint positive.

I’ve heard that the dye in the clear blue tests bleed so I’m not sure if I have a positive pregnancy test or a bad test with bad dye. I haven’t been feeling myself but I’m not feeling pregnant. I know that ectopic pregnancies are more common with IUD’s. Should I be worried or am I just having side effects to the birth control? I don’t know if this is normal or not and I don’t want to overreact.
