When should I feed my baby mashed banana

Question

My daughter will be 6 months & I want to start giving her mashed bananas and sweet potatoes. I’ll be mixing it with breastmilk. Her bottles alone are usually 5oz. How much mashed banana should I give her & when? Like with every feeding? Before or after? Should I make it replace one feeding?

try her on veggies before fruits because she may refuse veggies otherwise since they aren't sweet.

Always offer breast milk or formula 1st, then offer other food. I’d start with once or twice a day at regular family meal times. & I second start with a good base of veggies before starting fruit.

Solids don't replace formula or breastmilk and should always be fed afterward. And we just sliced up the banana and gave it to her lol no need to do all this mashing and mixing. Allowing them to feed themselves is so beneficial for them.

I would introduce solids slowly because her body isn’t accustomed to them. I did some research on this when I started introducing solids and based on that, decided to just try a couple baby spoonfuls per day at first and then slowly work up from there. You’ve got all the way until 12 months old before baby needs three meals and two snacks per day of “real” food.

When she was like 3 months, lol.
My son has been eating mashed every fruit since 3 months, even mashed french fries whatever he wants(healthy) to eat. Than 6 months we made stuff more chunkier than when he got teeth at 8 months just started getting him some normal people food!! If parents wait to long to feed children normal feed thats when they become picky.
