Swaddle?!?

Question

How would I know if my 6 week old dislikes his arms swaddled?
He has bad reflex jerks so Im thinking of swaddling his arms down now. He is usually swaddled with arms out. 
I just dont want him to freak out and not be able to move if he wants. 
Sorry if this sounds ridiculous.

I typically swaddle one arm in and leave one arm out! That’s the only way my baby will also sleep:) and then I just alternate the arms that I swaddle in:)

The halo sleep sack swaddle has worked wonders for us! My 7 week old loves sleeping with her arms up but the startle reflex wakes her up too. I put her to bed in the swaddle bag with her arms free. Then when she is fully asleep I lower her arms and wrap them. I do a hands up swaddle if you google it it's been my life saver as my daughter likes her hands at her face but hates being startled if thst go any further! It's all just trial and error but thank god for the swaddle 😂 xx
