I need some advice

My baby will NOT sleep in his halo bassinest at night. I will put him down, he will sleep MAYBE for 20 minutes, then wake up and moan and groan until I pick him up and put him on his stomach on my chest. Then that’s how we sleep even though I told myself I’d NEVER sleep in the bed with baby but otherwise I’d get no sleep at all.

Does anyone know any way I can get him to sleep in his bassinest? I know he can sleep alone because during the day he will nap in his boppy pillow just fine.
