Is this child abuse or am I petty?

For the past years my mom has been forcing me to sleep outside when shes mad at me, its always cold and i hear a lot of noises, she slaps me and hits me at least once a week. I need help. I don’t know what to do. I don’t want to die. I dont want to get the police involved YET, should i talk to her? Should i run away?

Definitely abuse. Call the cops or child welfare services. They will put you in a new home if u want to go that route. Or if u are old enough some states have programs where you live with other ppl your age in an apartment or something and they get u into school and a job and help u become an adult until u are ready to be on your own.
