I’ve been dating someone for years and over the years he has opened up to some extent when it comes to being affectionate. However we’ve bucked heads many of times because there’s things that bother me that doesn’t bother him, vice versa or he doesn’t show much compassion for things I long for. I told him I get he isn’t an affectionate person but it’s kinda affecting our relationship because I’m so affectionate. He said he loves me, he wants me, he needs me but he just isn’t passionate enough as a person. I love him and want to be with him but I want to feel loved and stuff too. So how can I help him to stop being so uptight with his love?
