Both my two girls and my boy were all in the 140s. Heart rate to determine gender is just another old wives’ tale that it needs to die. 
My MIL was told that my hubby was a girl based on his heart rate (no ultrasounds to determine gender back then) and she already had a boy and desperately wanted a girl. When she had him she was so disappointed he was a boy and to this day she favors his brother over him and they never had a bond or connection. Sad really.
If you really want/need to know the gender early, get a blood test. I found out as early as 11 weeks with my second daughter and again with my son.

At 6wks it was 170something. 7 wks 160something. And from there it stuck around 155 each time. Until my last apt at 20wks it was down to 140. 💙BOY💙
