I’m two weeks late but we welcomed our babygirl Saturday, September 1st at 9:13AM. She weighted 7lbs 05oz. My water broke Saturday at 1AM, I was very very calm, I felt at peace and excited. I woke my husband, barely, I just tapped him lol he looked so peaceful sleeping I felt bad for waking him up, he got up so fast! I called my mom to let her know that we were coming to drop off our dog at her house, I took a shower, I straightened my hair (again I was so at peace that I didn’t feel like rushing, which is crazy bc I’m usually very anxious) dropped apollo off, and we went to the hospital. I arrived at the hospital at 3AM and the nurses gave me the “wow” look bc I told them I broke my water at 1. I got in the room they hooked me up and I was 3CM dilated, so they said they would test to make sure it was my water that broke or I would be sent home, they said my water def did broke. I was having a good time I wasn’t hurting much, until they checked my cervix again, contractions started to come but I could breathe thru them. They checked me again I was 6CM and by then my contractions started to get strong and closer together, I kept my eyes closed the whole time and trying so hard to breathe thru them but it was getting so hard to do so.. and all of the sudden they got so strong I started to scream and I wanted the epidural and the nurse was like yes hunny i paged him but he didn’t get back yet, at that point I was 8CM and they were like I don’t think you’ll make it to get an epidural (I was crying by then and screaming in pain, goodbye peaceful feeling lol) but the guy got there and between him , my husband, the nurses were telling me to not move (I guess I was squirming all around bc of the contractions) idk how but for that min I didn’t feel the contraction while he was doing the epidural I believe it was God or my inner strength that helped me thru it. Afterwards I felt NOTHING the guy told me I may feel the pressure of birth but let me tell you, I took a nap, and then the nurse and the doc came and said it was time to push, I pushed for 20 mins and she was out!!! And I didn’t feel a thing!!!! I didn’t even tear!! was laughing making jokes and all, it was an amazing experience. I’m so glad I got it in time or I’m sure it would’ve been a whole different ball game .

So here she is! Isabella Xiomara Parker 💕💕
