Subchronic hemorrhage

I’m 5w 3d and yesterday I went to the ER because I have a little bit of bleeding but no cramps at all. Got seen pretty quick even though it was packed and some people had been there for a few hours before me. Did a blood draw and HCG was at 8,585 and had an ultrasound and there is a sac and a yolk but no fetal pole (which the doctor was not concerned about at all) they came to the conclusion that it was a subchronic hemorrhage that cause the bleeding and he proceeded to tell me that this puts me at a higher risk for miscarriage because it was a “threatened miscarriage”. Had a doctors appointment today and they took my blood again for hormone levels and I go back on Friday to make sure that they are still going up. Such a scary moment. Anyone else have something similar happen?
