New to birth control pills and breaking out in acne

Guys, I really need some reassurance. I’m new to birth control pills and just finishing my second month. My skin has broke out in such bad acne. I’m so upset because I finally had it under control these past three years. I called my doctor right away and she says that I have to give it three months and the kind she put me on really helps people with acne.

What’s everyone’s experience? Does it go away after a few months?

I’m so tempted to stop taking pills but I’m scared of accidentally getting pregnant too. Help!
