Does baby need vitamins while nursing?

I’ve never gave my older vitamins as infants but people have been telling me I need to?
Baby is 2 months old and breast fed💙

My pediatrician recommended vitamin D drops since my daughter was exclusively breastfed. It doesn’t get transferred via breastmilk well. Formula is fortified with vitamin D. We gave vitamin D from the newborn stage on. 
At 9 months, we found out my daughter was slightly anemic after blood work so we had to start iron drops. By 12 months her iron levels were normal and we could stop.

I was told 3 year ago with my first to give her vitamin d drops while nursing because in Canada we dont get enough of it ,pretty sure its already added into formula . I gave it to her when I remembered but to be honest that probably wasnt often .

Vitamin D supplements! Enfamil makes some! They’re little drops! It’s recommended for breastfed babies.

I give my daughter a Vitamin D drop a day (just apply the drop to my nipple before she nurses). My SIL’s pediatrician told her she needed to give her daughter iron supplements while nursing, but I wasn’t told that.

I avoid supplementation by incorporating plenty of healthy beef liver and salmon roe in my diet. That and raw milk/butter provides an incredible amount of complete real nutrition as opposed to supplements that are overly-processed and hardly work.
