Uti ? Help

So um I occasionally get the feeling of peeing and I can’t .. but it burns so much. I don’t know if it’s a UTI because I never tested myself. This isn’t the first time it happened to me, i get them frequently and it sucks ! I woke up this morning with a burning sensation, and my abdominal area feels funny. I’m on my period so I didn’t have sex. I’m saying this because the previous times I’ve had it , I got it after I had sex .. 
why does this happen I’m genuinely confused and concerned.

Make sure you pee right after sex to help clear out any lingering bacteria. You NEED to see you doctor though, don’t put off going to the doctor over things like this, it could lead to worse things if left untreated like a bladder or kidney infection, you could also be damaging your reproductive organs if your not treating symptoms like these. I don’t mean to freak you out but just make sure your taking care of your body when you notice things like this. If it is a uti or yeast infection make sure you drink a crap ton of water, like a full bottle every hour, get some organic cranberry juice not from concentrate you can dilute it with water it you don’t like the taste and also avoid processed foods and foods with tons of sugar. Make sure you wear clean cotton panties everyday and change into a new pair for sleeping. If your going swimming no hot tub or sauna make sure you dry off completely after getting out of pool and the shower. Don’t use soaps down there, you can also take a baking soda bath to remove any bacteria from the outside of your vagina.

You need to go to the doctor and they will ask for a urine sample and will tell you then if you have a uti and give you antibiotics, you need to go 100%

Idk if you masterbate but if you do and you forget to wash your hands/toys that can cause uti’s.
