He's 16, She's 19. 🤢
**PLLLEEASE give me some advice or an opinion**
I had just moved from another state. I was infatuated the moment I saw him in my AP Psych. class. I spent my entire senior year crushing on him--nobody else--but was too scared to say a word. I told my dad & best friend about my crush in AP Psych.
...we ended up finding each other on social media a month into the summer, & we hit it off--I confessed I had feelings for him for quite some time. We go on a few dates & end up getting into an "official" relationship...
We both attend the same University full time--we even have a class together. Our families love us. We were each other's "first." He's incredibly smart, with scores & grades impressive enough to attend Harvard (so proud of him)! We've been through very similar experiences in life thus far, meaning we both possess similar intelligence & maturity.
...only problem is that when we started talking, I found out he was 16. He was in my AP class reserved for seniors back when I first met him, in high school. I always thought he was my age...
I sincerely love him. I am so incredibly happy. I know all of my feelings are reciprocated.
...but I'm worried that maybe he is too young? I'm worried this won't end well? It's legal in my state, but I am starting to question the integrity of my relationship after someone criticized the age gap.
Please tell me if you guys find our ages or the situation odd...or if I'm overreacting/just stupid.
