What does the term ripening mean?
So I had my 37 week appt today and was curious as to what ripening means? My doctor just say the baby was very low but I'm beginning to ripen so I may have spotting after exams from here on out.
What does that mean? It doesn't sound like im dialated or anything... ? Just confused. I should have asked but in that moment I didn't.
