At my (what turned out to be) last appointment I ended up having to be admitted to labor and delivery bc of very low amniotic fluid. It just so happened that hubby was at the appt as well (thank goodness bc I was terrified) I was not expecting my baby girl to arrive so soon we had just moved into our new home and we were planning on getting all of her things ready the next day including taking maternity pictures!

Well I was admitted and very scared bc I didn’t know what was going to happen! My mom who is sooooooo loving and very very supportive went to my house and got my photo shoot maternity dresses and brought them to the hospital. I was hooked up to all kinds of IVs and monitors but when they let me go take a shower and I was set free from all the IVs and monitors I quickly changed into the dresses and my mom

snapped my “maternity pics”. It wasn’t what I anticipated or what I wanted but we made it work. I look back at them now and I am so thankful that my mom encouraged me to take these photos even if my IVs are on my hand and they show in the pictures because they help me share my birth story.

Baby girl was born a few days after I was admitted! She was a tiny little 5 pounder full of love! We are both very healthy!
