Consistent BH contractions?

Has anyone had consistent BH contractions that lead to real and regular contractions? I’m 37+5 weeks and the last 30 ish minutes I’ve had BH contractions come about every 4 mins. My last appointment I was 3cm dilated and 75% effaced so I’m wondering if this is a sign of early labor.

I don’t think they are Braxton and Hicks at nearly 38 weeks. I would go get checked if they’re consistent. Sounds like you’re in labor. Braxton and Hicks are practice contractions when you’re body is getting ready. These seem legit if they’re lasting!

They ended up stopping after an hour or so. My body must just be getting ready. The same thing happened the night before my last appointment and I had a dilation change, so it could be that again.

Braxton Hicks are not regular. I would get checked out.

I was 3 cm the day before I went into labor and I didn’t know my contractions were real when I got to the hospital I was at a 6 and in labor and had my baby just a few hours later they had to break my water which was painless and I didn’t even get an epidural

Call your doctor. I was told braxton hicks arent supposed to be very consistent at all.
