After an ectopic with a tube removal; did you manage to successfully conceive again?

I had an ectopic with tube removal as I was internal bleeding this was 10 months ago. I’m getting worried about my fertility. I also worry that if I do fall pregnant the chances of it happening again are very high. Any stories would be great

I had an ectopic back in April 2016 about a week before my birthday. I knew I was pregnant and was told by the hospital when I went in with pains that it was round ligament pain. Two days later I collapsed and I was rushed to hospital( they didn’t have a clue until I got in there that it was ectopic) turns out it had ruptured and I had to have my tube removed. I was devastated and received no aftercare as the hospital was outside our borough so I had to cope on my own. 2 years later I was diagnosed with depression and was put into anti depressants. We had tried for two years after the ectopic with no luck so we pretty much thought it was IVF or bust. 2 weeks after taking the antidepressants we found out we were expecting and the terror I felt was immense and I had to book myself in with the EPU as my GP didn’t seem to be bothered. I had 5 scans and countless blood test, was told it was ectopic again then told it wasn’t and thought I had suffered a miscarriage until they showed me my little squishy ❤️❤️. I’m now 18wks and 5 days and have my anomaly scan in just under two weeks but the fear doesn’t go away. My midwife was kind enough to check the heartbeat and only took 5 seconds to find which put my mind at ease for about 2 days 😂. Honestly you will worry you can’t stop that but there are things that can help you feel better.

I had to wait 3 month before trying because I first had metro shot it didn’t work tube ruptured and I lost a tube but we started trying after 4 months and I’m now 5weeks 2 days dr apt Friday to make sure everything is ok so far my levels are great!!

Tubal removal 3/1/2018. Conceived 4/5/2018 currently 28 weeks pregnant. I am high risk for ectopic because of tubal Ligation reversal.

I had a tube removal in May this year and fell pregnant again end of June! I am now 17 weeks with a healthy pregnancy so far. I was worried about another ectopic but I think if you had a tube removal it’s less likely to happen. Ectopics tend to re-occur if there is scarring to the tube following ectopic removal via medication etc.
