Out of breath already?

I am about 5-5.5 weeks along and I am so out of breath already! I was bathing my youngest and I was huffing and puffing already! Besides the extreme exhaustion, mild breast soreness , sleepiness, and huge appetite, this is a new symptom for me this early in pregnancy! Anyone else?

I’m always out of breath the week before my period so that’s a normal response to hormones for me, and it gets so much worse when I’m pregnant. I run 5Ks usually but couldn’t dream of doing that with my last pregnancy. Hoping this one will be different but so far it’s not, I was struggling hard carrying my first up a flight of stairs tonight.

It’s because our blood flow is rising so it’s easier to get out of breath. I feel so out of shape just walking the dog.
