IUI help and tips

I am scheduled for IUI Monday. What should I do/not do to get the best results possible? Doctor didn't say much except no sex, but then the email instructions I got said to try to have sex that night and the next morning... But I am wondering about other things like avoiding alcohol, caffeine, eating certain things or taking a prenatal vitamin. Also, I have to take the Ovidrel shot tonight. Tips or suggestions with that? Side effects, things I should do after, lay down, be up?
