Conceiving second time

We have been trying for our second baby now for 9 months.

Which I know isn’t ages, but our first baby we conceived within a month.

Just wondering if this is common?

I’ve booked a doctors appointment this week, but not sure what to expect.

I was on a depo injection and stopped end of last year- I read it can take ages for your body to go back to normal and get periods again. I’ve not had a period since January 2016.

Any one experienced or experiencing this?
