Milk production.??

Question

My son is a little over 2 weeks old and the most I have pumped in 1 session was 3.5oz. I'm lucky if i get out 2oz at a time... why do I see all of these moms with so much milk stored in their freezers??? I want more milk!!! I dont produce enough to store ANY!

The best advice I got was that you only need enough milk to feed your baby, you don’t need to feed your freezer (unless you’re exclusively pumping or have an over supply) 
I breastfed for 2 years and never got more than 2 ounces during a pump session. I only had enough milk in the freezer for me to be gone a day, and that worked great for us.
If your baby is making enough wet diapers, you’re making enough milk. If you’re pumping to save some to go back to work you only have to pump enough for while you’re gone, which is about an ounce per hour you’re gone, you’re gone for 8 hours you need to have at least 8 ounces pumped for while you’re gone. You don’t need a huge stock pile, for the majority of women a stock pile isn’t necessary ever.
If you’re truly worried about your supply (which I’m sure is just fine) here are some things that will help:
Stay hydrated! At least 64 ounces a day! Eat enough calories! Pump/nurse more often, try adding in 1 power pump session a day (see image at end of comment) if baby is nursing off of one breast pump or use a haakaa silicon pump to pump the other breast, this makes you’re body think two babies are eating at once so your body will think it needs to make more. Always pump or hand express both breasts after a nursing session, this completely empties the breasts which in turn makes them make more milk.
Remember getting 1-2 ounces during a pump session is the normal, women who get more than that are the minority.

3,5 oz is totally fine when baby is 2 weeks. With my son i never pumped more than 2-2,5 oz total per feeding and he was a big boy! Breastfed until he was 1 years old. 
Plus you alway pump less than what baby can drink live from the breast. 
As long as you got a wet diaper every time and baby is content after feeding him/her (apart from those days that they want to drink every single (half) hour😅😂), you are probably doing great!

I exclusively breastfeed my 6 month old and have never really gotten much from pumping. I did buy the little nature bond (I think that’s what it’s called) pump from amazon (it’s not really a pump, more like a suction cup to catch the let down milk) and actually got quite a bit. Way more than from pumping actually. Maybe try that?
