Question

So really, I always thought I was an grey-pan (if you don’t know what that is just search it up).
But then I have these doubts.
Like I haven’t felt any love for anyone.
I don’t even know how love feels like.
Maybe I have felt it and didn’t know?
Nevermind.
Maybe I’m all for the boys?
Boys and girls?
Asexual? Greysexual only?
Pansexual only?
Demi?
I not sure...
Can you guys help me?

Alright, love, let me tell you a story.
I was super, super touchy with girls as I grew up, but I only ever "liked" boys. I was 15 before I realized that I also liked girls, and several years older before I realized that I liked people in general.
Falling in love has been more complicated. I loved a girl in 7th grade, I loved a guy through four years of high school, and simultaneously loved two other people during 10th grade. Then I got into a relationship and suddenly Love took on a whole new meaning, and the love I felt in the past paled in comparison. Then I started comparing our love to the love I saw in couples around us, and our love seemed so weak and fragile and toxic in comparison.
Since then, I have felt familial or friendly love toward people, but romantic love has escaped me almost entirely. That doesn't mean it's never going to reappear.
My sexuality is even more complicated, but the short of it is that no one can hold my interest, and the only ones who have succeeded in capturing it have been a couple of guys I knew in my teen years. I'm 27 now.
Romantic and sexual identity are on a spectrum, so they may change throughout your life. I would categorize teen-me as demisexual, but adult me is definitely grey, leaning toward all the way ace. In no way does that negate what you've felt in the past. You're just developing as a person. In my opinion, that's positive.
tl;dr Don't stress about it. Romantic & sexual identities changing is totally normal. Whatever label you put on it now may not be correct a year from now and that's okay.
