Odd question

So I’m about 7 weeks and I’ve read that this week is when the umbilical cord starts to really function. Today, I’ve gotten this weird feeling around my belly button down. It’s not pain....it just feels strange. I know that’s really helpful, lol. Does anyone know if those things could be related? Please no rude comments. I’d call my doctor, but it’s the weekend and I want to ask the question so I don’t worry all weekend. Thanks!
