Anyone here get pregnant with the Mirena IUD? what led you to take a test??

My hubbys a iud baby but I mean that’s like way back when in dinosaur time lmao jk but seriously iuds have changed since then but if you think you’re pregnant test

If you think you are pregnant, take a test. The chance of it being an ectopic is higher with IUDs if you did get pregnant and that would need to be taken care of ASAP because it can impact your future fertility!! You wouldn’t necessarily know it’s ectopic unless you go to the doctor and get an ultrasound (some women will have lower right/left quadrant pain but not always) so definitely test and it positive make a dr appt quickly!!

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️ currently 34 + 3 and am not sure where the iud is.  I tested due to nausea and vomiting for a while.  I get really bad morning sickness with my pregnancies.  Doctor did an internal exam and ultrasound in early pregnancy and is unsure if it is hiding or fell out.  They opted against an X-ray but I might get one after baby.
