Did I technically lose my virginity?

So, here goes. Last weekend I drunkenly ended up at this guys flat. He was proper nice and was so understanding about me still being a virgin (I'm 19 for context). We ended up doing other things (mainly he ended up fingering me) but, Christ, he was rough (not that I was against it). However, a week after being off my period, I woke up to slight bleeding (though it looked more brown?) On my sheets. So, having like no experience, is that me breaking my hymen? Am I cured of the 1600s view of losing your virginity? Who knows? Maybe you do...
