Baby bit my nipple ...

So my baby girl got her first tooth and she but my nipple or scratched it I’m not sure but either way it has caused an opening and I didn’t think of it much at first but it has now become unbearable to feed her from that side. I’m putting nipple balm on it after every feed and shower but I don’t know 🤷‍♀️ if it’s serious or not or if it will effect her from eating that side? Help from any mommas that have gone thru this. Also my baby girl hates drinking from bottles.
